“geun phaw” (เกินพอ) can be used in the following ways:

adverb: more than enough

The adverb “geun phaw” (เกินพอ) is used when something that is needed is sufficiently enough for a particular purpose.

Examples:

– nan gaw geun phaw laeo
(That’s already more than enough)
– khun tham geun phaw laeo
(You already have done more than enough)
– man dee geun phaw laeo thee ja bpai thio sap-daa nee
(It’s already more than good enough to go away this week)
– phuak-rao mee ngeuhn geun phaw laeo thee ja bpai thio
(We already have more than enough cash to go on holiday)
– khun dai mee way-laa geun phaw laeo thee ja jad-garn gio-gap reung nan
(You already have had more than enough time to deal with that issue)
– mai gee deuhn thee-laeo nee ad-ja geun phaw, dtae dtawn-nee mai laeo
(A few months ago this would have been more than enough, but now it isn’t)
