“yok keun” (ยกขึ้น) can be used in the following ways:

verb: to lift up

The verb “yok keun” (ยกขึ้น) is to take something in your hands and move it to a higher position, or from one place to another.

Examples:

yok faa keun lae doo kaang-nai glawng
ยกฝาขึ้นและดูข้างในกล่อง
(Lift up the lid and look inside the box)

khun chuay chan yok glawng nee keun dai mai?
คุณช่วยฉันยกกล่องนี้ขึ้นได้ไหม
(Can you help me lift up this box?)

nawn bon pheuhn lae pha-yaa-yaam yok kaa kawng-khun keun chaa-chaa
