English for Speakers of Thai Language courses is a teaching and learning programme that especially designed for any Thai clients striving to improve their skills and knowledge of the English language in the following areas: reading and writing, speaking and listening, vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar. The Citizenship content can also be included in the course if the clients wish to be fully prepared for the Life in the UK Test at one of the UK accredited centres.
The Six Stages of Learning
The process of learning have been divided into six stages based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) to differentiate levels of ability. Each is necessary as it lays down the foundation for the next, and should never be omitted if you are to achieve the best result. Please take the time to read the information provided to fully understand them.
The recommended tuition hours given for each individual level is only an approximate timescale. The length of time required to complete your course depends largely on how much time you can dedicate to independent studies and how well you grasp the Thai language concepts in the teaching and learning material.
The students should be able to complete the entire course within approximately 160 hours of classroom time and 160 hours of independent study.
On successful completion of this course, students should be able to perform at level A1 of the Common European Framework and be fully prepared for the ESOL Skills for Life Entry 1.
Important: ESOL Skills for Life Entry 1 is a minimum requirement if the students wish to apply for spouse visa.
The students should be able to complete the entire course within approximately 160 hours of classroom time and 160 hours of independent study.
On successful completion of this course, students should be able to perform at level A2 of the Common European Framework and be fully prepared for the ESOL Skills for Life Entry 2.
Important: ESOL Skills for Life Entry 2 is the natural progression if the students planning to apply for British Citizenship or Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK.
The students should be able to complete the entire course within approximately 160 hours of classroom time and 160 hours of independent study.
On successful completion of this course, students should be able to perform at level B1 of the Common European Framework and be fully prepared for the ESOL Skills for Life Entry 3.
Important: ESOL Skills for Life Entry 1, 2 and 3 qualifications must be gained before students can apply for British Citizenship or Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK.
The students should be able to complete the entire course within approximately 160 hours of classroom time and 160 hours of independent study.
On successful completion of this course, students should be able to perform at level B2 of the Common European Framework.

On successful completion of this course, students should be able to perform at level C1 of the Common European Framework.
