Thai Word of the Day: “dtaa sa-waang” (ตาสว่าง)

“dtaa sa-waang” (ตาสว่าง) can be used in the following ways:

phrase: to be wide awake / to open one’s eyes (to something)

The phrase “dtaa sa-waang” (ตาสว่าง) is used for saying that you are completely awake and not sleepy, as well as when you are able to think and see something more clearly, or realize the truth to the situation.
