The verb “dtaw-yaae” (ตอแย) is to deliberately annoy or upset someone, either by criticizing them, attacking them, or treating them in a way that is offensive to them or causing them to suffer physical or mental pain.

Examples:

แล้วคุณจะไปตอแยเธอทำไม
(And, why are you tormenting her?)

kao dtaw-yaae ter dta-lawd lang ter bawk leuhk kao

(Nobody wants to annoyed a temperamental person like you anyway)
