Thai Word of the Day: “geua-nun” (เกื้อหนุน)

“geua-nun” (เกื้อหนุน) can be used in the following ways:

verb: to help / to support / to assist / to aid / to lend a hand

The verb “geua-nun” (เกื้อหนุน) is used for saying you lend your support, assistance, or a helping hand to someone when they are going through a difficult time.

(The army arrived to assist in the search)

– Jane bpen kon thee phrawm thee-ja geua-nun kon eun sa-meur
(Jane is someone who is always ready to lend a helping hand to others)

(An additional team of contractors was hired to aid in the construction)
