Thai Word of the Day: “kao-ruam” (เข้าร่วม)

“kao-ruam” (เข้าร่วม) can be used in the following ways:

verb: to participate / to join in

The verb “kao-ruam” (เข้าร่วม) is used for saying that you are taking part in something.


– mee rong-raem laai haeng thee kao-ruam nai bpro-gram
(Several hotels are participating in the program)

– ter mai keuy kao-ruam garn-a-ti-bprai dai-dai kawng-rao leuy, chai reu mai?
เธอไม่เคยเข้าร่วมการอภิปรายใดๆของเราเลย ใช่หรือไม่
(She never participates in any of our discussions, does she?)

– pha-nak-ngaan tuk-kon dai-rap garn-sa-nap-sa-nun hai kao-ruam nai krong-garn
(All staff are encouraged to participate in the project)

– raai-la-iad kawng kor-sa-neur mee yoo thee raan-aa-haan thee kao-ruam thang-mud
(Details of the offer are available at all participating restaurants)
